White House Deputy Press Secretary Sends Cryptic Tweet, People Freak Out

It's so easy to get under liberals' skin.

In 2017, tweets by politicians and government officials make headlines. Recently, when President Donald Trump sent a tweet with a typo in it, the media seemed to come unglued. CNN even sent a report out into Manhattan to ask passersby what "covfefe" meant to them. But over the weekend, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary, sent out a tweet that was, for lack of a better word, cryptic. It had traffic lights, anchors, maps, boats, trains, castles, fountains, and the letters, "lolaklkk."

Immediately, people on social media start assuming that this message had some sort of hidden meaning.

One commenter speculated, "spicey took her phone and is secretly asking for help. blink twice at the next briefing. i'll understand. "

Another noted, "Somewhere in there she said, 'Trump is a liar.'"

Someone else wrote, "This is the most coherent statement to come from the Trump administration."

For a few hours, the internet was gripped with the mystery. What on earth did she mean? Was it a message, as some speculated, that only the Russians understood?

Eventually, Sanders solved the mystery for all of us:

Instead of some nefarious secret message, it was an innocent message to America from her three-year-old, who proved that even a toddler can troll the news media.
