University of Missouri has become ground zero for social justice warriors and their many asinine crusades. Luckily, some of the school's left-wing activists, like professor Melissa Click (the one who called for "muscle" in removing a student journalist from a protest), have paid a price.
Add to that list Mizzou graduate student Jonathan Butler, who went on hunger strike to push for the ousting of the University president. For those unfamiliar with the attention-grabbing SJW, the CollegeFix reports that Butler is "the student whose hunger strike helped prompt Mizzou football players to boycott and ultimately led to the resignation of university President Tim Wolfe" and that he was a "key figure in the protest known as 'Concerned Student 1950,' which demanded that Wolfe 'acknowledge his white male privilege.'"
"Butler embarked on the hunger strike to bring attention to 'marginalized' students," the Fix wrote.
Now Butler, the son of a wealthy railroad executive, has been outed for the fraud that he is. Compiling a list of Butler's past transgressions gleaned from the outlet Heat Street, the Fix reports:
Heat Street reports that “other student activists and social-justice warriors” who were already concerned about Butler as their standard bearer have turned over their trove of damaging information on him.
Among Butler’s previous online writing and videos are these gems:
He stole breakfast from a hotel for two straight months for the “adrenaline rush” and tried to get caught, mocking the female manager who eventually confronted him for her “below minimum wage salary”
He berated an elderly Subway shop employee
With a friend, he made a video about “ratchet women“; unchallenged by Butler, the friend says that all women “will lie, cheat, steal to get what they want”
Another video shows him “singing about cooking crack cocaine with his love interest”
Apparently the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, either. A separate report in the Fix notes that Butler's parents protest "white privilege" while living in a $1 million lake house and raking in over $8 million in salary last year alone.
Just another day in the life of left-wing hypocrites.
