Bobby Jindal won't be jumping on the #NeverTrump bandwagon and has pledged to support the GOP frontrunner should he get the nomination to run for president. 

Appearing on CNN's Brook Baldwin Tuesday, Jindal said that although he found the rhetoric between Ted Cruz and Donald Trump this primary season to be "disgusting" and hungered for better options, he did concede that the GOP should support Trump.

"I think it's likely, this election, this nomination contest could be all but over by tonight. I think it's more and more likely that Donald Trump will be the nominee," Jindal said.

Given the choice between Hillary and Trump in the general election, Jindal felt Trump would do a better job. .

"I do think he'll be better than Hillary Clinton, I don't think it's a great set of choices," Jindal said. "If he is the nominee, I'm going to be supporting my party's nominee. I'm not happy about it ... but I would vote for him over Hillary Clinton."

The main sticking point for Jindal was that Donald Trump could very well nominate a true conservative to the Supreme Court, something that will never happen under a Hillary presidency. Though reserved in his praise of Trump, having in the past been a major critic of his, Jindal did credit The Donald for raising certain middle-class concerns.

"I think Donald Trump has tapped into middle class anxieties." Jindal said. "He's doing well in part because voters are responding to what he is saying, he's saying, look, he'll fight for them."
