Donny Deutsch: People Are Tired Of Hillary

"She's certainly very vulnerable in a national election and with the right candidate challenging her in the primary."

America wants to "change the channel" away from Hillary Clinton, according to advertising executive and Morning Joe panelist Donny Deutsch. A panel discussion on the Friday program centered on the question of whether Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) will run for the Democratic Party nomination against Hillary Clinton in 2016. The progressive Deutsch believes Warren should run, even if it's just to introduce herself to American voters; he also stated that Clinton may be vulnerable:

Deutsch: If I’m advising Elizabeth Warren, I would tell her to absolutely do it because she would get a six-month platform to really introduce herself to the country to set her up for 2020---and really particularly as we look at the electoral map going into 2020 and all the Georgias, possibly a blue state, a candidate who really leans left and has four years to kind of establish their brand, it's not a bad idea as a brand introduction for her to get out there.

Willie Geist (co-anchor of Morning Joe) : But Hillary Clinton is obviously up huge in these polls. A lot of people in this country are, I think, resent the idea of a coronation. The concept we talked of earlier this week of clearing the field, why should the field be cleared? This is America, it’s democracy, if people want to run, they want to challenge her, they may not win but they ought to have the right to challenger her.

Deutsch: I'll say it again. I think there's Hillary fatigue. I think Hillary, I really believe that on some level the American public, although they have tremendous respect for her, whether they like her or don't, they want to change the channel. They really believe she's certainly very vulnerable in a national election and with the right candidate challenging her in the primary.
