Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held nothing back this week in his reaction to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry's decision to skip over Israel during his upcoming Middle East trip. Noted to have a tone of sarcasm, Netanyahu said, "There is no reason for him to come here."

And Netanyahu wasn't finished; he continued slamming the Iran nuclear deal in closed talks on Israel's Army Radio:

This agreement has nothing to do with us and has no effect on [Israeli policy]. We're not partners at the table, but her menu.

Kerry defended his decision to bypass Israel saying, "I think I’ve had more meetings with an Israeli prime minister and more visits than any secretary of state in history." He added that he considers "Bibi a friend" and though they "obviously" disagree on the Iran deal, Kerry said, "I've told him my feelings."

Kerry's visit will include Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.
