Last month, TruthRevolt introduced you to Ntokozo Qwabe, an arrogantly racist Oxford University student who shamed a white waitress to tears at a South African cafe over colonialism. He and his party refused to tip for her service and instead wrote on the bill: "WE WILL TIP WHEN YOU RETURN THE LAND."
Qwabe has reveled in his moment of "triumph" since it happened and his giddiness hasn't slowed. He's back and feeling no regrets, claiming he is helping to "disrupt whiteness." An unrepentant Qwabe is speaking out again about the waitress:
"Quite frankly, her feelings are irrelevant to us. If you think people demanding a just society in South Africa is a borderline offense then you are clearly out of touch.
"Her working-class status isn't as material as it is made out to be. Even if she's working class, she is linked to whiteness. By virtue of her skin color, she is privileged.
"These innocent white girl tears re-entrenches patriarchy because white women's tears make white men want to jump in and save white women from all these aggressive black people."
As we explained previously, Qwabe is a leader of the Rhodes Must Fall movement at Oxford. He wants a statue of Cecil Rhodes removed at Oriel College as a means to erase the diamond mogul's "racist/colonialist" legacy. Coincidentally, Qwabe is one of thousands to have been awarded a Rhodes scholarship, made possible by the fortune left to the university by the man it's named after. Notice Qwabe had zero problems accepting that honor and the money that goes with it.
For a deeper glimpse into his depraved mind, we offer Qwabe's bottom line written shortly after his trip to the cafe:
Moral of the story: the time has come when no white person will be absolved. We are tired of "not all white people" and all other bullshit. We are here, and we want the stolen land back. No white person will be out here living their best life while we are out here being a landless and dispossessed black mass. NO white person shall rest. It is irrelevant whether you personally have land/wealth or you don't. Go to your fellow white people & mobilise for them to give us the land back. That will be the starting point of all our interactions from now. We will agitate all our spaces with the big question: WHERE IS THE LAND?
