Video has emerged of a woman unleashing a tirade of hate against a veteran for bringing his PTSD service dog into a restaurant in Delaware. The owners of Kathy’s Crab House & Family Restaurant in Delaware City posted the video to YouTube for all the world to see.
The woman explains — that’s putting it mildly — that she was not happy with the taste of her food and to top it all off, she had to eat in a restaurant that allows animals. Service dogs are legally allowed to enter businesses -- not that facts would matter to this woman.
“I’m leaving because the food’s nasty and because there is a dog,” the unidentified woman screams at the vet and his party. “What are you going to do about it? Nothing!”
An employee stood up for the soldier, saying he fought for the country’s freedom and deserves respect. But the woman wasn’t interested in R-E-S-P-E-C-T as much as cussing everyone out:
“Congratulations! My husband's dad fought for the fucking country! What's your point?"
When confronted with the idea that the vet needs his dog to help him with his PTSD, the woman screamed louder, “So, what? It’s still nasty to me! I don’t care!”
She pointed around the room and proclaimed that no one was going to change her “goddamn opinion.”
The woman said there should be a separate section in the restaurant for animals. But as it turns out, the only special section reserved was just for her: outside in the parking lot, where she was eventually shooed as the restaurant door was locked behind her.
The veteran handled the outburst like a champ and was perhaps the calmest person in the room. Apparently, his dog is doing a great job.
