'Allah' in Orlando Terrorism Transcript Changed to 'God'

Because after all, Islam had nothing to do with it.

As if the Obama administration redacting the Orlando terrorist's references to ISIS in the transcript of his 911 calls weren't blatant enough evidence that our government is whitewashing any connection between terrorism and Islam, now it appears that even any mention of "Allah" in the released partial transcript has been scrubbed, replaced with "God."

As much as the Department of Justice would like to obfuscate the matter, "Allah" is very specifically the god of Islam, not to be confused with or conflated with the "God" of Christianity or with some generalized notion of a deity. And as much as the media would like to make this terrorist massacre a simple act of homophobic "hate" unconnected to ideology, the shooter who killed 49 Orlando clubgoers Sunday before last mentioned nothing about that in his 911 calls. Instead, he described himself as a soldier of Islam who pledged allegiance to ISIS.

But you wouldn't know that from the edited transcripts being released by the Obama administration, which invariably circles the wagons around Islam after each instance of violent jihad.

Check this out below. OD is the Orlando Police Dispatcher. OM is the Muslim mass murderer Omar Mateen:

OD: Emergency 911, this is being recorded.

OM: In the name of God the Merciful, the beneficial [in Arabic]

OD: What?

OM: Praise be to God, and prayers as well as peace be upon the prophet of God [in Arabic]. I let you know, I’m in Orlando and I did the shootings.

OD: What’s your name?

OM: My name is I pledge of allegiance to [omitted].

OD: Ok, What’s your name?

OM: I pledge allegiance to [omitted] may God protect him [in Arabic], on behalf of [omitted].

As Townhall's Katie Pavlich put it,

This isn't simply a translation, this is the Obama administration avoiding any reference or connection to Islam. Transcripts should be printed verbatim, and then later translated for reference and understanding. They should also be released in full, not partially with government approved summaries of what happened.

Further, the FBI should release the audio of the transcript, but confirmed today during a press briefing they will not. Could it be because Americans will hear Omar Mateen speaking Arabic and saying the words we hear so often, "Allahu akbar," debunking the narrative again that the attack on Pulse Night club had little to do with Jihad?
