Al Gore recently announced a coalition of Democrat Attorneys General who will investigate climate deniers for "violating the law." 

"According to the best available evidence, deceiving the American people, communicating in a fraudulent way ... about the reality of the climate crisis and the dangers that it poses to all of us and committing fraud in their communications about the viability of renewable energy and efficiency and energy storage ...In the opinion of many who have looked at this pattern of misbehavior and what certainly looks like fraud, they are violating the law."

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman seems to be heading up the effort. During a press conference about the new climate task force, AG Schneiderman said that "everyone from President Obama on down is under relentless assault from well-funded, highly aggressive and morally vacant forces that are trying to block every step by the federal government to stop meaningful action."

AG Schneider and Al Gore were flanked by attorneys general from six different states -- all part of this "historic coaltion."

The science of climate change is far from definitive. In fact, much of the data disproves the Left's theories. To pursue a prosecutorial agenda against those who dare question a theory (operative word being theory) is very dangerous ground on which government officials now tread.
