High school senior Caitlyn Cannon left Oak Hills High School in California with a yearbook quote that is being celebrated for its perpetuation of the feminist myth that won't die - the gender pay gap.

"I was tired of seeing the same old quotes from popular books and movies and authors," Cannon told The Huffington Post in an e-mail, "and I wanted to call attention to a problem that women face." Though Cannon admits she saw a similar quote online and adapted it for herself, it is hers that is making the viral rounds. A close friend posted the girl's senior yearbook photo and quote to Twitter:

HuffPo said the teen "deserves an A+ for her feminist yearbook quote." Cannon was also featured in a Cosmopolitan article that called the quote "absolutely perfect." 

With all this "new-found fame," Cannon is wondering what the future holds. Her Twitter profile states she is "headed to NYC" after graduating. But perhaps before she leaves California, she can capitalize on one last minute of her fifteen:
