Trump: Lena Dunham Should Move to Canada

"Now I have to get elected"

Shortly after Girls star Lena Dunham threatened to flee to Canada if Donald Trump got elected, the real-estate mogul exclaimed that that reason alone is enough to vote for him, a sentiment hard to disagree with no matter how you feel about Trump.

In a phone interview on Fox & Friends, the GOP frontrunner was asked to comment on a tweet made by Lena Dunham Monday threatening to move to Canada if he got elected. Trump had the perfect answer:

"Well, she's a B-actor. You know, she has no — you know, no mojo. I heard Whoopi Goldberg [said the same thing] too. That would be a great thing for our country."

A graphic was then displayed showing the various celebrities who threatened to leave, which included Dunham, Jon Stewart, and notorious Trump rival Rosie O'Donnell. Trump really liked the idea of having O'Donnell on the list.

"Now I have to get elected because I'll be doing a great service to our country," he said. "Now it's much more important. In fact, I'll immediately get off this call and start campaigning right now."

Tempting. All too tempting.

The Freedom Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Therefore we do not endorse political candidates either in primary or general elections. However, as defenders of America’s social contract, we insist that the rules laid down by both parties at the outset of campaigns be respected, and that the results be decided by free elections. We will oppose any attempt to rig the system and deny voters of either party their constitutional right to elect candidates of their choice.
