Obama Slams 'Less Than Loving' Christians At Easter Prayer Breakfast

Says nothing about Kenya university attacks against Christians

At Tuesday morning's Easter prayer breakfast, President Obama pulled once again from his National Prayer Breakfast playbook and denounced Christians in front of the gathered religious leaders at the White House.

Making sure no one was mounted on their high horse again, Obama said:

On Easter, I do reflect on the fact that as a Christian, I'm supposed to love, and I have to say that sometimes when I listen to less than loving expressions by Christians, I get concerned. But that's a topic for another day… I was about to veer off. I'm pulling it back.

Although a comment like this would bring any Christian pause, many attendees at the breakfast seemed overjoyed by the president's off-the-cuff remarks.

A Fox News report (below) picked up on the fact that Obama seemed more concerned to pick on American Christians than point to the targeting of Christians worldwide, especially in light of the recent mass murders in Kenya.
