A 6-foot-2 figure in a full burqa emerged from the woods near the Arno family's home in Atlanta and attacked them with a flag they had flying for Memorial Day.
Dami Arno, wife and mother, told Fox 5, "A lady walked out of our woods in a full burqa, full attire, stares at us for a minute, then grabs my American flag off of my mailbox and charges towards us with it, just swinging it with all her might."
Amina Ahra, 30, was arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery for attacking the mother and 17-year-old daughter, according to the report. The Arno family stressed they did nothing to provoke the attack and said the woman never spoke a word and "seemed possessed."
The attacker isn't giving much information to police and has only said she is from Africa. She has offered no local address at this time and remains in the Gwinnett County Adult Detention Center.
