MSNBC's Todd: All Benghazi Questions Answered, GOP Doesn't Like Answers

"It certainly looks more partisan than it looks like a serious inquiry."

MSNBC's Chuck Todd did some impressive spinning on behalf of Congressional Democrats and the Obama Administration Tuesday morning as he parroted the DNC's talking points on the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

According to Todd (or was that Debbie Wasserman Schultz with a sloppy goatee?) all the questions that need answering have been answered on the Benghazi affair, but those stubborn, partisan Republicans just don't like the answers:

It certainly looks more partisan than it looks like a serious inquiry.  They’ve done a ton of these inquiries already, the House has. There’s been a Senate Intelligence investigation. Forget just the State Department. I think you could argue that yes, Congress should have done what it did, which is go through some of these committees. But as for the need for the select committee — you know, I’ll hear from Republicans that say, ‘But there are unanswered questions!’ Well, no, all the questions have been answered. There’s just some people that don’t like the answers, that wish the answers were somehow more conspiratorial, I guess.

Interesting take, considering former CBS News journalist Sharyl Attkisson has plenty of questions that have gone unanswered. James Lyons, former commander in chief of the US Pacific Fleet has a couple of questions, too.  Charles Krauthammer also has one or two cloudy issues he'd like cleared up.
