Mock Star Wars Ad Makes Perfect Case Why Conservatism Must Win

Hillary must be stopped before she gets a chance to finish what President Obama started.

Star Wars mania has swept the nation, sending fans into a frenzy as they anticipate the seventh installment of the franchise debuting (finally!!!) this weekend. Add to that the hype of the crucial 2016 presidential election now approaching from a galaxy not so far away, and you have the perfect recipe for a new viral internet video.

And bringing that recipe to life is Andrew Varvel, who on his YouTube channel states that he is so "hyped" about Star Wars and Marco Rubio that he created an unofficial ad for his preferred candidate mashed up with the audio from The Force Awakens trailer. The results are pretty fantastic.

Whether a Rubio fan or not, this video does a great job in making the point that under the leadership of Democrats (the Dark Side), America is in peril. And it will once again take a conservative (Jedi) leader to bring the country out of ruin and back to its rightful place as the Shining City Upon a Hill.

One of the more poignant moments in the ad happens when images of past American achievement -- the Wright brothers, space travel, Ronald Reagan -- appear as the words of the female lead Rey states, "There's stories about what happened." Then the older and wiser Han Solo responds, or in this case, reminds her about American exceptionalism, "It's true. All of it."

But surely an easy favorite for most who watch is when Hillary Clinton pops on screen just as Sith Lord Kylo Ren begins his speech: "Nothing will stand in our way… [Barack Obama embraces Hillary] ...I will finish what you started."

The takeaway? A Republican must be elected the next president or Jar Jar Binks is promised to be in Episode VIII.
