Filmmaker Michael Moore believes Democrats need to start taking Presidential candidate Donald Trump more seriously, because he may very well win the 2016 election if they don't.
Appearing on a special edition of Real Time with Bill Maher on Wednesday, the notorious left-wing propagandist had no choice but to admit that Donald Trump may beat Hillary in November so long as Democrats keep living in their self-satisfied bubble of smuggery.
After Maher and his panel of leftist talking heads had their fill of conservative bashing over the drama displayed at this year's RNC, Moore decided to be the bearer of bad news, saying all the smug talk in the world won't get them anywhere.
"But the truth is, I’m sorry to have to be the buzzkill here so early on, but I think Trump is going to win," said Moore, prompting host Bill Maher to concur.
Though Moore certainly opposes Trump, he has not been in lock-step with his leftist colleagues on the seriousness of Trump's rise, and its implications. Since December, Moore has appeared on multiple networks and repeatedly stated that Trump's populist rhetoric towards the blue-collar working class should not be written off as empty statements from a populist-nationalist, but as a formidable force that could defeat Hillary this coming November.
Moore's warning to Democrats has also been repeated by communist Van Jones, who saw the results of Brexit as a clear sign of Trump's potential.
