Michael Moore isn't exactly known for his measured, reasoned political commentary, but he may have reached new heights of hyperbole in his reaction to President Trump's rollback of former community organizer Barack Obama’s energy plan.
Newsbusters reports that President Donald Trump signed an executive order into law Tuesday "to begin rolling back Obama’s Clean Power Plan. The plan included many regulations affecting domestic energy production. According to the Associated Press, the executive order 'will suspend, rescind or flag for review more than a half-dozen measures in an effort to boost domestic energy production in the form of fossil fuels.'”
The documentary propagandist then took to social media to express his response in typically apocalypse-level, fear-mongering style.
Moore didn't make it clear how historians will be around to document the extinction of all human life on earth, or who will be around to read them, but then, Twitter allows one only 140 characters per tweet, so presumably he didn't have space to explain. There's still time, however, for Moore to save large pockets of humanity -- say, Syrian refugees -- from extinction by turning his nine homes into well-stocked emergency shelters. Do it for the future of humanity, Michael.
