Yesterday marked one year since the election of President Donald Trump, and the Left was none too happy about it. When a politician with whom one heartily disagreesis in office, the best thing to do is to take clear, decisive action which will rally others to your cause. Or, you can be one of the leftists who gathered yesterday to scream helplessly at the sky.
That's not my personal commentary; they literally called these events, which took place across the country, "Scream Helplessly at the Sky." I don't know about you, but it doesn't give me a whole lot of faith in their side's ability to lead. The invitations were rife with hyperbole. Take the Dallas event, for example. The description read,
Mark the one-year anniversary of the so-called "election" of the so-called "President" by joining the national primal scream. Howl at the sky, wail, gnash your teeth, bang your drums! May this shitshow of an administration hear our cathartic scream!
Worse yet? It worked.
They screamed in New York:
They screamed in Denver:
They screamed in Pittsburgh:
They screamed and screamed and, yet, Donald Trump remains President. Perhaps they were inspired by this woman, the original Trump screamer:
Honestly, though, they all remind me of this:
First of all, most of these people are just yelling. Can they not even scream correctly? Second, do they not realize that this is going to alienate far more people than it wins? Do you want eight years of Trump? Because this is how you get eight years of Trump. You might as well be cheering for him when you do this. So keep it up.
