HROD17: Hillary Email Claim Proves False

This directly contradicts Clinton's claim that she used only one email address as Secretary of State.

Team Clinton has just been caught in another potentially damaging falsehood concerning the ongoing email scandal. Yet again, the latest email deception was exposed by the New York Times; in a series of emails published Monday, the 2016 hopeful clearly uses more than one private email address, which directly contradicts Clinton and her representatives' repeated claims that she used only one email address during her time as Secretary of State.

The emails indicate that Clinton used the email address [email protected], multiple times from 2011 to 2012. As TheBlaze points out, this contradicts statements by Clinton's attorney David Kendall, who assured Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) that the "hrod17" address had not "existed during Secretary Clinton's tenure as Secretary of State."

In a statement on the issue, the Clinton camp insisted that she "used one email account" during her tenure with the State Department from Jan. 2009 to Feb. 2013:

Secretary Clinton used one email account during her tenure at State (with the exception of her first weeks in office while transitioning from an email account she had previously used). In March 2013, Gawker published the email address she used while Secretary, and so she had to change the address on her account.

TheBlaze reports that its request for comment from a representative for Clinton’s office was not immediately answered.
