Hannity Eviscerates Dem Who Claims Fox News Lies About Everything

"Good luck to you. You’re gonna lose. I’ll put any amount of money on it. And you’re gonna lose badly."

Mike Dickinson, the Democratic candidate to unseat House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, believes that Fox News does nothing but tell lies, has unqualified political analysts, and that the FCC needs to monitor and regulate them. Sean Hannity had Dickinson on his Tuesday evening to discuss his charges against Fox. The Democrat was clearly mismatched.

The Fox host started off on a rapid-fire attack and didn't let up:

Hannity:

My next guest is Mike Dickinson a Democrat running for congress with hopes of unseating Eric Cantor of Virginia. His main campaign tactic appears to be to attacking Fox News. He recently tweeted, Fox News does nothing but tell lies and mistruths. They have unqualified political analysts, we need to monitor and regulate them. Joining me now to defend his position, Mike Dickinson. Fox News does nothing at all but tell lies and mistruths?

Dickinson:

That's exactly the truth. You guys at Fox News.

Hannity:

Everybody at Fox News. All day long, 24 hours a day seven days a week. We’ve never told the truth. All we've ever done is tell lies. We do nothing but tell lies. That’s all we’ve ever done is tell lies.

Dickinson:

You tell lies, you distort the truth, you promote hate. Everything you do is---

Hannity:

How do we promote hate?

Dickinson:

Well, let's talk about the treatment of President Obama.

Hannity:

I asked you a question. How do we promote hate?

Dickinson:

I'm going to tell you how you promote hate. Let's talk about our President Obama for a moment. All you do on your show is you refer to the President---

Hannity:

All you do on your show is -- you keep saying, broad, sweeping. We have shows 24/7, you’re saying that we've never told the truth on the air, ever? We never tell the truth?

Dickinson:

I'm ready to answer your question if you would calm down.

Hannity:

I'm calm, I just think you sound silly.

Dickinson:

I think you sound silly. But let's talk about how you distort the news. President Obama, Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act is not socialism. All you do on your show is call it Obamacare this, Obamacare that.

Hannity:

Do you support Obamacare?

Dickinson:

I do support the Affordable Care Act, yes I do

Hannity:

Did President Obama promise if you like your plan you can keep your plan?

Dickinson:

He did.

Hannity:

And have people gotten their plans canceled?

Dickinson:

They did, just like George W. Bush stood on the aircraft carrier and said mission accomplished.

Hannity:

He's been out of office six years.

That was just the first part of the discussion. Dickinson went on to say that Obama didn't lie, that people were kicked off plans “because the insurance companies are greedy” and because Fox News keeps warning of socialism and “big government” as a result of the law.  With each claim, Hannity fired back asking to prove his claim.  Finally Hannity tired of "playing" with such an easy foil and ended the segment, saying:

Good luck to you. You’re gonna lose. I’ll put any amount of money on it. And you’re gonna lose badly.
