Feinstein: Obama Violated Law In Gitmo Deal

Calls White House "pretty unilateral" in decision-making

California Senator Dianne Feinstein said the Obama administration violated the law by not consulting with Congress over the decision to swap five Gitmo detainees for the Army Sgt. being detained by the Taliban. 

Numerous articles posted Tuesday quoted Feinstein, the chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, as saying she received a call from National Security Adviser Tony Blinken, who apologized for not giving the California Democrat advance notice of the swap.
