Eight hours before the cease fire with Israel was to end on Tuesday, Hamas fired three rockets toward Israel which landed in open fields near the southern city of Beersheba. No injuries or damage have been reported in the attacks.
According to the "Jerusalem Post"
The attacks were not preceded by rocket alert sirens and the Iron Dome rocket defense system did not attempt to intercept the rockets.
Diplomatic sources said that in light of the rockets fired on the South and the violation of the cease-fire, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon instructed the IDF to resume its attacks on terror targets inside the Gaza Strip.
Prime Minister Netanyahu has instructed the Israeli negotiators to return from Cairo indicating that he will not negotiate while Israel is under fire.
