Whoopi Says Obama Treated Worse by the Media Than Trump

Did she just wake up from an eight-year nap?

Whoopi Goldberg doesn’t agree with President Trump that he is treated unfairly by the media. In fact, she feels Barack Obama had it way worse.

Showing her complete disdain for Trump, Goldberg couldn’t utter his title, calling him “the current resident in the White House.” As she set up a clip of the president’s recent speech at the Coast Guard’s graduation ceremony in which he described himself as being treated “worse or more unfairly” by the media than any other politician, The View co-host lampooned Trump -- complete with fake tears -- for acting like he’s the poor “victim.”

After the clip played, Goldberg opined in such a way that would make one believe she’s been asleep for the last eight years:

“I did want to point out [laughs] and there have been a couple who have been perhaps treated more unfairly or as unfairly. Let's talk about, I don't know, Barack Obama.”

The audience agreed and burst into loud applause.

Goldberg offered no examples of the media’s mistreatment of Obama (because there are none), but only mentioned how Trump criticized the previous president through the birther movement and questioned his religion.

“So, I figure, you’ve been in less than, maybe, what, 120 days and you think it’s rough now? This guy went through it for eight years and came out still a man. I’m proud — whether you like what he did — I’m proud of him,” Goldberg said of Obama.

Wow, the view from that desk is through blinders.
