Speaking to Chris Hayes on MSNBC on Wednesday night, Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) unleashed a slew of sound bites sure to please Democrats like Hayes, calling for the arrest of President Trump and Fox News host Bill O’Reilly.
On Hayes’s All In program, Waters ranted for six minutes, making the case for why she gets nervous with Trump running the country.
“I don’t want him really speaking for the United States,” the long-time congresswoman told Hayes. “Does he know what he’s talking about? No, he doesn’t.”
Waters strongly suggested that Trump will never be able to “engage in diplomacy” and added, “I have no trust, and no confidence in him” in talking and working with foreign leaders.
Her solution to “rein him in,” is to simply cover his mouth:
“I wish that our foreign affairs experts could somehow get his ear and at least tell him to shut up; to just stop it.”
Waters has a huge problem that Trump suggested Susan Rice go to jail for her part in spying on the Trump transition team during the Obama administration. She said Trump is the one who needs to go to jail.
Turning her sights to O’Reilly regarding the latest accusations of sexual harassment against him, Waters called O’Reilly and Trump, “two of a kind.”
“I’m not surprised he stood up for Bill O’Reilly,” Waters said, referencing Trump’s infamous “grab ‘em by the p***” line.
Waters was also not surprised that 30 advertisers have pulled ads from Fox News, calling the network a “sexual harassment enterprise:”
"It's all catching up with Bill O'Reilly and that sexual harassment enterprise at Fox… Bill O'Reilly needs to go to jail."
