'The View': Jenny McCarthy Uses Anti-Semitic Stereotype

"I’d listen to anyone Jewish, they know how to make some money.”

On Monday’s episode of The View, Whoopi Goldberg commented on Miley Cyrus’ contention that old Jews control Hollywood. “Back in the day, many of the people who ran the music industry were Jewish,” Goldberg explained. “She’s a little late because that has evolved and changed quite a bit in the last 45 years.” Her co-host Jenny McCarthy then added, in true anti-Semitic fashion, “I gotta tell you, I’d listen to anyone Jewish, they know how to make some money.”

Were that line to emanate from the mouth of anyone on the political right, the media would undoubtedly point out the anti-Semitic stereotype. But McCarthy is a leftist appearing in the mainstream media, and thus escaped scot-free.
