Happy Days star Scott Baio went on Fox News with Judge Jeanine Pirro to discuss his endorsement of entertainer and reality show host Donald Trump for President.
“It’s very simple,” he began. “Because when he speaks I understand him. He speaks like I speak.”
Baio is a "long time conservative" who has supported Mitt Romney and Scott Walker in the past. But now he is "fed up" with the GOP. “I’m done with them, I’m done with the Republicans. They’ve lied and conned and B.S.-ed me for a very long time now.”
“Listen, they’re going to attack whomever the Republican nominee is. And we need somebody to relentlessly, relentlessly attack Hillary, and that’s the only way we’re gonna win, because this getting above the fray and not getting in the dirt and ‘we’re better than that,’ it doesn’t work anymore. But to win elections nowadays, the Democrats and liberals attack viciously.”
Baio joins the list of other Hollywood folk with his Trump endorsement including Stephen Baldwin, Kid Rock, Hulk Hogan, Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson, and Gary Busey.
The Freedom Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Therefore we do not endorse political candidates either in primary or general elections. However, as defenders of America’s social contract, we insist that the rules laid down by both parties at the outset of campaigns be respected, and that the results be decided by free elections. We will oppose any attempt to rig the system and deny voters of either party their constitutional right to elect candidates of their choice.
