With the NRA's annual convention playing out this weekend in Indianapolis, ex-talk show host Piers Morgan took to Twitter to vent his expected vitriolic gun hate.
At the convention, the NRA called for a new universal concealed carry law. That obviously did not sit well with Morgan, who called the NRA “assassins.”
He then posts another tweet insinuating that the NRA and gun manufacturers are in cahoots and attempting to force Americans into buying guns.
One person commented on Morgan’s use of the word assassin by saying the best way to stop an assassin is with a 9mm. That, of course, echoes NRA President Wayne LaPierre’s famous words that “The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with one.”
