With Lois Lerner returning to Capitol Hill, Bill O'Reilly took on the IRS targeting scandal once again in his Talking Points Memo.
Playing video of Lois Lerner once again taking the Fifth and refusing to testify, O'Reilly said that the investigation of the targeting of conservative non-profits by the IRS was going nowhere because key IRS figures were taking the Fifth.
Bill O'Reilly contrasted Lois Lerner's refusal to testify with Obama's claim "that there is not even a smidgen of corruption" and asked why, if the hands of the IRS were clean of even that smidgen of corruption, did Lois Lerner plead the Fifth.
O'Reilly said that evidence points to White House involvement and said that the House Oversight Committee was not getting anywhere in its investigation due to Democratic obstructionism.
Bill O'Reilly called Congressman Elijah Cummings' tantrum during the hearings "pathetic" and said that it is clear that Cummings "does not want to know what happened with the IRS. From the beginning he has been denigrating and stonewalling the investigation."
"We the people still don't know what really happened," O'Reilly concluded.
