MSNBC’s Martin Bashir continues to be without its potentially suspended namesake, but that doesn’t make the replacement content any more credible.
Panelist Dr. Michael Eric Dyson went on a rant during Tuesday’s show about the soon to be realized bundle of benefits citizens would receive thanks to the prescience of the President. Dyson compared Obama to star NFL quarterback Peyton Manning for his sense of anticipation in creating the Obamacare program before people realized they needed it. But once it is realized, Dyson suggested, ailments big and, um, small, would be cured, thanks to the program:
It's going to be like ‘Thank God I went to the doctor and it wasn't the emergency ward and guess what? Now I've got my diabetes under control, my chemotherapy here, my Viagra. There will be millions of men who will rise to the occasion and say we are grateful for what he has done.
