A white supremacist killed a 32-year-old woman in Charlottesville after he rammed his car into a group of counter-protesters at a white nationalist rally over the weekend. So, naturally, the national media is pouring all its attention on how President Trump and his white supporters bear responsibility for a single man’s actions. But where was this level of outrage last week when a GOP committeeman was murdered execution-style by an anti-Trump leftist?
As TruthRevolt, but few others, reported, Clayton Carter, 51, shot his neighbor, G. Brooks Jennings in the head as the two argued on the victim’s property. Carter then stood over Jennings’ body and delivered another bullet to his brain with a .380 handgun as the victim’s wife looked on in horror. Jennings was a GOP committee member and Carter, who has a history of causing trouble with neighbors, had a yard full of anti-Trump signs and slogans. But the politics of this angry leftist was buried with the story, as exampled by ABC News which got around to mentioning it only at the very end of its coverage.
Meanwhile, the news media is having a field day with the “alt-right” white supremacist, who to them represents all of conservatism and Donald Trump.
