MAEL: Students for Justice in Palestine Perpetuating Anti-Semitism

"They perpetuate Jew hatred. They do nothing, but demonize the Jewish state and ostracize Jews on campus."

On Thursday, TruthRevolt's Daniel Mael appeared on The Kelly File with Shannon Bream, filling in for Megyn Kelly, to discuss the rise in anti-Semitic activities of Students for Justice In Palestine (SJP), calling the group both slanderous and hateful.

Leading in, Bream showed video captured by Mael of an SJP "die-in" protest at NYU with students chanting for Israel's downfall. When asked about what he witnessed, Mael called the event an excuse for "perpetuating anti-Semitism":

"They continue to lie and try to make the excuse that it's about Israel or specific policy. They were claiming today that Israel needs to be wiped off the map. They said that the 'Zionist state' needs to be torn down. They are perpetuating anti-Semitism."

Mael explained that the phrase "Justice in Palestine" is a cloak term, meant to hide the fact they are not "pro-Palestine," but rather anti-Israel and anti-Semitic.

"They are not pro-Paelistinian," said Mael. "They perpetuate Jew hatred. They do nothing, but demonize the Jewish state and ostracize Jews on campus."

In terms of SJP's attempts to hide their anti-Semitic motives by claiming to only criticize "Israeli policies" and not Judaism itself, Mael cited their double-standard and moral equivalence as evidence of its nonsense.

"My sister lives in Israel, this is very personal," said Mael. "They were putting a moral equivalence between Hamas, who is looking to shoot rockets into innocent civilians with counter-terrorism activities that Israel is forced to engage with because of the radical pro-terrorist stances that a number of officials in Hamas and the Palestinian authority actually promote."
