‘Known Wolf’ Carrying Explosives in Car Rams Police Van in Paris

He had been flagged for ties with terrorists.

Jihad-by-car continues in the West in yet another attack at the Champs-Elysees shopping district in Paris.

French police say a 31-year-old man from Paris drove his car packed with explosives into a police van killing himself but thankfully, no one else was hurt. The unidentified suspect is what’s consider a “known wolf” in that he was already known by authorities and his file denoted with an “S,” meaning he was marked for ties to Islamic extremism.

Interior Minister Gerard Collomb said the deliberate attack only proves the threat level in the country should remain very high and a state of emergency must remain in place. Back in April, the Champs-Elysees came under fire by a Muslim who killed a police officer on behalf of ISIS.

Like London, Paris is a hotbed for this type of terrorist activity thanks to lax asylum policies and of course, simply living in a big city.
