After more than a year taking a hiatus from Twitter, Vice-President Joe Biden returned on behalf of Democrats in the 2014 midterms. On Monday, Biden tweeted,
The tweet instantly got over 300 retweets and hundreds of favorites. Biden plans on going around the country helping potentially vulnerable Democrats during President Obama's final midterm election. Time magazine reported that the Democratic National Committee is actually tweeting on the vice-president's Twitter handle.
A DNC spokesperson told Time,
@JoeBiden will be another way for the Vice-President to engage our supporters, spread the Democratic message and support our candidates heading into the midterm elections,
The office of the Vice-President is still tweeting using the handle @VP and urging people to share his pro-Obama information,
