Jennifer Lawrence Says it's Not Nice to Fool Mother Nature

"It’s really hard, especially while promoting this movie, not to feel Mother Nature’s rage."

Actress and part-time climatologist Jennifer Lawrence has declared that America is reaping the whirlwind of hurricanes Irma and Harvey for electing Donald J. Trump.

Promoting her latest movie Mother in a September 6th interview with Great Britain’s Channel 4, Lawrence, 27, stated without evidence that “It’s scary to know that climate change is due to human activity."

If it is, she's certainly not helping any. She has previously stated that she prefers private jets (who doesn't?) because on commercial flights there is the potential for “one crazy person who ruins it for everyone."

In any case, in the interview she indicated that by ignoring our responsibility for climate change and voting in a president doesn't wholeheartedly embrace climate change hysteria, we are now seeing the consequences -- hurricanes.

“The only voice that we really have is through voting.  We voted, and it was really startling.  It’s really hard…especially while promoting this movie…not to feel Mother Nature’s rage…wrath.”

The Silver Linings Playbook star didn’t explain why the eminently important promoting of a movie made the Creator of the Universe’s vengeance more visceral, or why it took Mother Nature an entire year to whip up a good enough storm to really sock it to Republicans.  Nor did she clarify as to why Mother Nature has focused on ravaging areas that did not actually vote for Trump.

You’re a good actress, Jennifer; we like seeing you at the movies. But offscreen, try not to be the “one crazy person who ruins it for everyone.”
