Last night Trump held a rally at the River Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and the attendance broke the charts. Over 12,000 people showed up for the event, destroying the previous record for attendance of 8,000, set by an Elton John concert, reports The Gateway Pundit blog.
Gateway adds that there were an additional 3,000 people who were not even able to fit into the venue and were stuck outside.
As political rallies go, 15,000 people is absolutely huge. No other candidate on either side of the aisle is coming close to that kind of attendance in the south. Here are a few shots from Twitter:
