In an exclusive interview Friday evening with ABC's Diane Sawyer, Hillary Clinton said the facts surrounding Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's capture do not matter -- just bring him home.
In what can only be described as a subtle tribute to her infamous "What difference at this point does it make?" tirade during the Benghazi hearings, Clinton came perilously close to repeating the line to Sawyer over Bergdahl's capture.
"It doesn't matter how they ended up in a prisoner of war situation," Clinton said, to Sawyer's surprise. She added, "It does not matter. We bring our people home."
Clinton also used the moment to pump her new book Hard Choices saying, "I think [exchanging Bergdahl for 5 Taliban] was a very hard choice, which is why I think my book is so aptly named."
