Hezbollah Terrorists Entering Germany as Refugees

Chancellor Merkel sticks to her open doors policy and offers “shelter to those who deserve it.”

Chancellor Angela Merkel’s open doors policy for fighting-age men from Arab and Muslim countries is a gift that keeps on giving. An alarming number of Hezbollah terrorists are entering Germany posing as refugees, reports Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post, citing a German intelligence report. The intelligence assessment did not specify the exact number of Shi’a Hezbollah terrorists hiding among the country’s migrant population, but there were 950 active Hezbollah operatives known to Germany’s federal intelligence agency (BfV), the newspaper confirmed.

The report focuses on Germany’s most populous state of North Rhine-Westphalia and shows a similar rise in the operatives belonging to terrorist outfit Hamas as well. Both the US and the EU have classified Iran-backed Hezbollah and Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Hamas as terrorist organizations.

The story was broken by the Jerusalem Post’s Europe Correspondent Benjamin Weinthal:

Hezbollah combatants have entered Germany since mid-2015 as part of the wave of refugees from the Middle East, according to a German intelligence report reviewed by The Jerusalem Post.

The report released this month shows increased membership for Hezbollah and Hamas in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

“Since mid-2015 there are increased indications of fighters from Shi’ite militias entering Germany as legal refugees,” according to the intelligence report. (…)

It is unclear how many Hezbollah terrorists disguised themselves as asylum-seekers to enter Germany. But according to Germany’s federal intelligence agency, there are 950 active Hezbollah operatives in the Federal Republic. (…)

The number of Hamas members in North Rhine-Westphalia rose to 75 in 2016 from 65 in 2015. Both the US and the EU classify Hamas as terrorist organizations.

The German newspaper Rheinische Post cited the same report highlighting the growing threat of Islamic terrorism in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. According to the newspaper, Germany’s domestic spy agency was monitoring 70 mosque associations in the state that were under “Islamist influence.” An estimated 250 Jihadists have left the state to join the ranks of the Islamic State, including 70 women. The number of Radicalized Muslim, or Salafists, under the agency’s scanner in the state grew from 2900 to 3000, out of which 240 were likely to carry out terror attacks, the intelligence assessment concluded.

Germany's growing Muslim population and the migrant influx from Arab and Muslim countries in the wake of the “Refugee” Crisis that began in 2015 are fueling the growing Islamism across the country. The trend registered by the intelligence report in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia can be seen in other parts of Germany as well.

Despite one damning intelligence assessment after another, Chancellor Merkel refuses to learn from her past mistakes. She continues to reiterate her dogmatic Refugee Welcome stance and commitment to “giving shelter to those who deserve it”.
