Sean Hannity dined with Newt Gingrich, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) and fellow talk radio star Mark Levin in January and not only picked up the $5,000 tab for dinner but also tipped 100%!
The conservative mogul has been disparaged by his enemies on the left for supporting Tea Party candidates, blasting liberals on his radio and television shows, and for his big pay days from Premiere Radio Networks and the Fox News Channel. Ed Schultz is unlikely to apologize for the bad things he has said about Hannity in the past but since the liberal MSNBC host is so in favor of "income inequality" you would think the news that Hannity left a $5,000 tip for wait staff at a D.C. Ruth's Chris would please Ed.
It is common practice that the radio and television host will tip 100% for good service. I saw this for years when I worked on his radio show. In the past he worked construction, was a bartender, short order cook and dishwasher. He did not pick up this dinner just to impress a potential 2016 GOP contender, a congresswoman and a couple of reality tv stars; he does stuff like this all the time.
Hannity has hosted multiple fundraisers for Col. Oliver North's Freedom Alliance, who provides aid to many families of KIA, POW and MIA along with help for veterans. Hannity often helps families in need and even strangers who call into his radio program. Much of his giving is done in secret and he does not broadcast everything he does for attention or accolades.
Hannity lives out Matthew 6:4, "so that your giving will be in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you."
