All across social media, one hilarious local TV spot from Sunday night's Super Bowl, featuring Georgia personal injury lawyer Jamie Casino in a Chuck Norris-inspired two-minute ad, has gone viral and may very well be on its way to Super Bowl commercial hall of fame.
The ad opens with a quote from Proverbs 31:8, "Speak for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed," before launching into the following voiceover that could've been lifted out of The Punisher:
I'm Jamie Casino. You may have seen some of my personal injury commercials on T.V. I wasn't always a personal injury lawyer. I once was a notorious criminal defense lawyer who was employed by some of the most cold-hearted villains. My art brought me great wealth until one day my little brother, Michael and his friend, were two of four people whose lives were taken...
The commercial proceeds as the song "Devil Gets Your Soul" by Nick Nolan plays over Jamie Casino standing before his little brother's grave site with a scowling grimace as he slowly picks up a flaming sledgehammer and smashes the headstone briefly intercut with Casino praying in a Catholic church.
"I'm Jamie Casino, and I don't represent villains anymore. I speak for innocent victims who cannot speak for themselves," he says as the "Casino's Law" logo bursts into flaming glory.
As of 1:20 PM PDT on Monday, the ad had well over 150,000 hits on YouTube.
