In an interview with Fusion, former Mexican President Vicente Fox blasted Donald Trump as "a false prophet" and "a crazy guy" and proclaimed in no uncertain terms that he will not be paying for Trump's proposed wall on the United States southern border.
"I declare: I'm not going to pay for that f***ing wall," Fox said to Univision and Fusion anchor Jorge Ramos. "He should pay for it. He's got the money."
During the interview, Fox went on to further disparage Trump, who boasts support of 44% of the Hispanic vote in the Nevada caucus, and urged Latinos to wise up:
I’d like to know who those Hispanics are, because there again, they are followers of a false prophet…
Please, you Hispanics, Latinos in the U.S., open your eyes. It’s not to defend our race. It's not to defend our creed. It’s to defend this very same nation that is hosting you. This nation is going to fail if it goes into the hands of a crazy guy.
Fox went on to tell Ramos that Trump is neither Republican or Democrat, but just "himself," that is "ego-centric."
