With all of the personal pampering and relaxing on multi-million dollar yachts celebrities busy themselves with, it’s amazing they have time for politics. But we aren’t that lucky.

Alec Baldwin gathered a bunch of his anti-Trump Hollywood buddies, including Michael Moore, Sally Field, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Julianne Moore, and leftists organizations like the ACLU, MoveOn.org, and EMILY’s List, to sign an apocalyptic letter to Congress claiming America is in “constitutional crisis” with President Trump at the helm. The letter asks for the creation of an independent commission and appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate potential ties to the Russian government.

The letter, which was sent mere hours before Robert Mueller was appointed in that role on Wednesday, reads:

“It is time to put country before political party. The founders of our nation intended to ensure that no one branch of government could supersede the authority of the others and that no individual, not even the president, would be above the law. Today, we fear the bedrock principles of our democracy are being put to the test in ways unlike any others in our nation’s history. Donald Trump’s actions over the past week have put our country on a path toward a constitutional crisis.

“It is the unanimous opinion of our nation’s top intelligence agencies that Russian actors interfered with the presidential election. Getting to the bottom of this interference can not and should not be a partisan matter. We ask that you put country before party to ensure that the integrity and well-being of our nation and its people remain your top priority, as they should.”

So far, zero evidence has surfaced proving any collusion between Trump and Russia. Top Democrats like Maxine Waters and Dianne Feinstein begrudgingly admit this fact, but the Left will stop at nothing to keep the allegations pumping in the 24/7 news cycle.
