Democrat Official Accosts Gay Republican Fighting Gas Tax Over Pride Weekend

“Which one of you ---holes is the gay?” he demanded.

The Walmart parking lot in Fullerton, California was a hotbed of political turmoil when a Vice-Chair of the Democratic Party of Orange County found out that not every single gay person in the state was blindly following the party's edicts. Jeff LeTourneau, who is gay, was deeply offended by the fact that another gay person was helping collect signatures against a state senator who supported a gas tax hike. The tax hike, which passed because of Democratic support in spite of Republican opposition, is not popular in that area, so these grassroots activists were doing something about it.

“I’m here as an openly gay person on Pride weekend seeing these two people disgracing my community and letting them know I don’t care about them," LeTourneau said. "They’re liars! They’re liars!” LeTourneau apparently believes that all gay people have to vote in one way: for liberals. “You do not belong to our community. You also do not belong to the LGBTQ community either.”

So, if you're keeping track at home, being welcomed in the LGBTQ community has nothing to do with whether you actually are LBGTQ and everything to do with how you feel about this California gas tax. Got it?

Carl DeMaio, a gay former GOP congressional candidate and a conservative talk radio host, tried to calm the angry Democrat down. However, he didn't give an inch. “LeTourneau clearly thinks that if you are gay, you can only be a Democrat which is both arrogant and highly offensive. The idea that Californians are sick of paying higher taxes cuts across party lines and sexual orientation.”

To make matters worse, LeTourneau harassed a Walmart shopper who was signing the petition. Thankfully, a store manager showed up and admonished the Democrat. “Does she have a democratic right to sign this petition?" he asked. "Why should she be badgered by you?”

Indeed. Why should anyone be badgered by this guy? Watch the heated exchange below.
