Breitbart is reporting that conservative firebrand Ann Coulter was forced to cancel her highly controversial appearance at UC Berkeley because fascists on campus were fully expected to explode into violence.
As TruthRevolt previously reported, Coulter was originally scheduled to speak on Thursday, but Berkeley canceled the event over safety concerns. But a few days later, the decision was reversed and Coulter was asked to come back on May 2nd with a new venue mind and proper security precautions planned. Yet, here we go again, with Fox News reporting a “99% chance” that violence would erupt at Berkeley the second Coulter set foot on campus.
It is also noted that the conservative group which invited Coulter, Young America’s Foundation, was forced to pull its support over security concerns. Coulter blasted YAF in an e-mail to Reuters:
“There will be no speech. I looked over my shoulder and my allies had joined the other team.”
To be clear, the other team is a highly organized group of violent terrorists bent on harming conservatives and intimidating leadership to bend to their fascist will.
Milo Yiannopoulos knows a thing or two about this group’s resistance to the First Amendment and wrote on his Facebook page that he will fight against the Antifa for free speech even if he has to bring an army to do it. Yiannopoulos said it’s time to restore Berkeley as the home of the free speech movement once again:
Awful to see my friend Ann Coulter forced to cancel her speech. I don't understand why Young America's Foundation would capitulate so close to victory. Ann can hardly be expected to show up without insurance, security or a venue, so I completely understand why she had to cancel. She is Ann Coulter, after all.
My proposed Free Speech Week will proceed as planned later this year. I WILL BRING AN ARMY IF I HAVE TO. We will ensure that Ann and others can speak and we will publicly, ritually humiliate UC Berkeley for its failure to meet its legal obligations until conservative speakers no longer fear violent mobs just for exercising their First Amendment rights.
Berkeley is going to become the free speech capital of the United States once again. I will make sure of it.
