As CNN was covering the air strikes on ISIS led by Jordan, they tweeted out a message which appears to rationalize burning a man alive.
Although the tweet is horribly worded, the link attached to the post explains the “rationale” behind the burning.
In all the other cases of public executions, ISIS has been beheading its captors. So why now did they escalate the killing and burn a man alive? CNN believes the reason is because this is the first time an enemy combatant was captured and not a journalist. Muath al-Kasasbeh was a Jordanian pilot who “rained fire down” on ISIS. So in retribution ISIS made the message very clear, this is how we deal with enemy combatants who attack and try killing us, so says CNN.
