On Monday, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang ripped into the Malaysian government over their failure to provide information about missing flight MH370 “in a timely, accurate and comprehensive manner,” according to official Chinese news agency Xinhua.
Guo Shaochun, the Chinese joint working group leader attempting to find the missing jet, said on Sunday that the working group will urge authorities to expand the search area: “We will urge and assist Malaysia to bear responsibilities to take good care of and appease the family members of the passengers on the plane.”
Philippines has now suspended the search for the missing plane. “We dispatched our C-130s several times for wider coverage. We did not find anything,” Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin stated.
