On Tuesday evening, former President Bill Clinton walked away with Woman’s Day magazine’s top honor: the Red Dress Award. Seriously.
Clinton actually accepted personally on behalf of the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation. Women’s Day reported, “The Clinton Foundation’s work promotes heart health across a variety of initiatives, both domestically and internationally. The Clinton Health Matters Initiative works to reduce the prevalence of preventable health outcomes (including heart disease), to close health inequity and disparity gaps, and to reduce health care costs by improving access to key contributors to health for all people.”
The award is given to those who have had a role in fighting heart disease. It was not presented by Monica Lewinsky.
