Stephen Willeford is the hero who shot the Texas church shooter with his trusty AR-15 and tailed the monster to ensure he would kill no more. This good guy with a gun was the reason the massacre ended. But former Vice President Joe Biden thinks Willeford should have never had the very weapon that stopped any more from dying.
In a special segment on Monday’s Today show, Biden was asked by a female audience member, “So, with the tragedy that just happened in Texas, my question is: how do you justify the Democratic view on gun control when the shooter was stopped by a man who was legally licensed to carry a gun?”
“Well, first of all, the kind of gun being carried he shouldn’t be carrying. Assault weapons are, uh — I wrote the first, the last serious gun control law that was written and was law for 10 years, and it outlawed assault weapons, and it outlawed weapons with magazines that had a whole lot of bullets, and so you can kill a whole lot of people a lot more quickly.”
Spoken like a true gun expert.
“Number two, it’s just rational to say certain people shouldn’t have guns,” Biden continued.
The only rational thing the former VP uttered was that there’s nothing we can do about a crazy person with a gun. But apparently, it’s confiscation for the rest of us sane gun owners.
